The Sa Dance Company

The Sa Dance Company is a contemporary Indian dance company founded in 2008 with the mission of bringing awareness of Indian dance and culture to a wider and more diverse audience. Through movement and music, Sa weaves together traditional Indian folk and classical dance forms such as Garba, Kathak, Bharatanatyam, and Bollywood, with western aesthetics and dance forms such as Jazz, Ballet, and Contemporary to express the essence of Indian-American identity. The company has performed at several notable venues and dance festivals, including Lincoln Center, The Ailey Citigroup Theater, Summerstage, Battery Downtown Dance Festival, MAD museum, and more.
